Fjord trailer features Sebastian Stan and Renate Reinsve

Neon has released the official trailer for ‘Fjord’, the Palme d’Or winning drama directed by Cristian Mungiu. The film stars Sebastian Stan and Renate Reinsve as a couple who relocate with their five children to a remote, close-knit coastal town in Norway.

The story follows the Gheorghiu family, consisting of a devout Romanian father and his Norwegian wife, as they attempt to settle into a new community. Tensions arise when the family’s rigid beliefs and behavior attract local scrutiny, culminating in allegations of abuse. The narrative explores the ambiguity between community protection and cultural prejudice, questioning whether the family is being judged by a system that blurs the lines between genuine concern and bias.

‘Fjord’ is scheduled for a theatrical release on October 9, 2026.
