FK Austria Wien unveils Klimt-inspired third kit

FK Austria Wien has unveiled its new crimson third kit for the 2026/27 season, featuring a design inspired by Gustav Klimt’s iconic painting, ‘The Kiss’. Developed in collaboration with kit supplier Macron, the jersey draws on the patterns and aesthetics of the Austrian symbolist artist’s landmark Art Nouveau work.

Departing from traditional player-focused marketing, the club released a video titled ‘Love takes many forms’ to introduce the kit. The promotional film features five different couples—including engaged pairs, long-term partners, a multi-generational family, and a lesbian couple—discussing themes of connection and love.

The kit will be worn by both the men’s and women’s teams during the Cup double-header in Traiskirchen this Saturday. A limited release of 1,000 special edition boxes will be available for purchase online and in the club's fan shop.
