FK Grobiņa and FS Jelgava draw 0-0 in Latvian Virsliga

FK Grobiņa and FS Jelgava played to a 0-0 draw in the 30th round of the Tonybet Latvian football Virsliga in Liepāja. Despite the scoreless result, FS Jelgava had several significant opportunities to secure a victory.

In the 68th minute, Roberts Meļķis missed a penalty kick after Grobiņa goalkeeper Roberts Ozols successfully intercepted the shot. Jelgava also hit the goalpost twice during the match. In the final minute of stoppage time, Grobiņa's Maksims Semeško struck a header that hit the post, narrowly missing a late goal.

In other league action, Super Nova defeated Tukums 2000 1-0, while Riga and Auda drew 2-2. Ogre United also played to a 2-2 draw against Liepāja. RFS currently leads the tournament standings with 70 points, followed by Riga with 67 points and Auda with 57 points.
