FK Železničar strengthens squad with English defender and extends captain's contract
FK Železničar announced the signing of 20‑year‑old English centre‑back Billy Dzi, a former Chelsea academy graduate who spent the past two seasons with Norrby. The defender signed a three‑year contract and will be immediately available to coach Radomir Koković.
The club also secured the future of its veteran goalkeeper Zoran Popović, who re‑signed for another year after a record‑breaking season in which he kept 16 clean sheets. Young defender Nemanja Vidojević extended his deal until 2029, providing further stability to the back line.
Elsewhere in the Serbian SuperLiga, FK Partizan completed the loan return of Milan Aleksić from English side Sunderland, adding a one‑year loan with an option to buy. Additionally, goalkeeper Aleksandar Vulić left Serbia to join Portuguese club Vizela on a two‑year contract with an extension option.
These moves reflect active transfer activity as clubs prepare for the upcoming domestic season and European competitions.
