FK Partizan management faces calls for resignation amid crisis

Former players and the initiative ‘Apel za spas Partizana’ (Appeal to Save Partizan) have issued a formal statement demanding the resignation of FK Partizan’s current management and the dissolution of its assembly structures. The group cites a catastrophic state within the club, characterized by declining sporting results, financial instability due to failure to qualify for European competitions, and a loss of institutional stability.

Critics, including former player Ljubomir Vorkapić, have expressed deep frustration over the club’s direction. Vorkapić specifically highlighted the perceived humiliation of the club’s status, noting the departure of prominent figures like Predrag Mijatović due to disagreements with leadership. The initiative claims the club has lost its sporting direction and reputation due to internal conflicts and a lack of long-term planning.
