Bosnia and Herzegovina football news: New call-ups and Partizan reforms

New call-ups Luka Đurić and Zinedin Smajlović have expressed their excitement regarding their debuts for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national football team. Đurić, a midfielder for German club Paderborn, noted that the presence of several German-speaking teammates has eased his integration into the squad. Both players highlighted the significance of playing alongside veteran Edin Džeko.

In club news, FK Partizan's management has announced it will no longer be a passive observer in the Football Association of Serbia (FSS). The club is demanding institutional reforms and better representation within the association's governing bodies to ensure fair conditions for all clubs.

Additionally, Partizan has scheduled a friendly match against the Russian second-division side Rodina for September 27 at the renovated Partizan-Teleoptik Sports Center in Zemun. This match will serve as a tactical test for the coaching staff during the international break.

In regional football, FK Gornji Rahić will celebrate its 90th anniversary with a celebratory match against FK Sarajevo. Meanwhile, FK Sarajevo owner Ismir Mirvić announced improvements to the club's training infrastructure in Butmir, highlighting the need for better sports facilities in Sarajevo.
