FK Sloboda Tuzla faces lawsuit and political criticism over fan bans

FK Sloboda Tuzla is facing legal and political scrutiny following a decision by its Board of Directors to ban certain individuals, including former board member Saša Čabrija Arnautović, from attending club events at the Tušanj City Stadium.

Arnautović has filed a lawsuit against the club, expressing distress over the decision. He highlighted his long-standing devotion to the club, noting that he has attended nearly every match for over 25 years and has personally provided financial support to players and the club in the past.

The SDP BiH Tuzla City Committee has also intervened, reminding the club that the stadium is a public space managed by the City of Tuzla. The committee stated that the club cannot unilaterally deny citizens access to public spaces outside of the specific procedures outlined in the Law on the Prevention of Violence and Improper Behavior at Sporting Events. They urged the Board to reconsider the decision to ensure transparency and equality for all citizens.
