FK Velež Mostar hosts Red Night fundraiser under Old Bridge in Mostar

On a recent evening the football club FK Velež Mostar held its annual “Red Night” charity event beneath the historic Old Bridge (Stari Most) in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The gathering brought together club legends, current players, sponsors, partners and fans to celebrate Velež’s qualification for the second qualifying round of the UEFA Conference League and to raise funds for the club’s future.

Club president Admir Rahimić emphasized a long‑term vision of stability, youth development and new signings, stating that the club aims to build a foundation that will last for decades. Technical staff head Ibro Rahimić spoke of expected additions to the squad and the goal of regular European competition. The evening featured a torchlight display, fireworks, a concert and the presentation of awards to supporters and sponsors. Velež’s next league match will be against Borac Banja Luka.
