Fūka Tsunoda joins Crystal Palace on loan from Brighton

Crystal Palace Women have announced the season-long loan signing of 21-year-old midfielder Fūka Tsunoda from Brighton & Hove Albion WFC.

Formerly of the Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Urawa Reds Ladies academy, Tsunoda moved to Brighton in September 2025. During her time there, she made 13 official appearances and scored two goals in the Women's Super League. Her move to Crystal Palace follows the club's recent promotion to the top flight after finishing second in the second tier last season.

Tsunoda, who has represented Japan at the U-16, U-19, and U-20 levels, expressed her excitement about the move, stating, “I am really excited to be in South London. I can't wait to play in front of you all.”
