FL Auto Korea completes Ford technical talent training program

FL Auto Korea has completed its ‘2026 Ford Future Talent Development Program,’ an industry-academic cooperation initiative designed to cultivate specialized technical personnel for the automotive industry. Now in its 14th year since its inception in 2013, the program concluded with seven students from five different universities completing an eight-week intensive course.

The curriculum combined theoretical classroom instruction with practical, hands-on experience. Participants received professional technical training on Ford and Lincoln vehicles and participated in one-on-one mentoring with active technicians. Practical training sessions were held at Sunin Motors service centers, the official dealer for Ford and Lincoln, where students observed and engaged in vehicle inspection and maintenance workflows.

To support the trainees, Sunin Motors will provide scholarships to all seven graduates. The program aims to address the increasing demand for highly skilled technicians capable of handling modern automotive complexities, including electrification and software-driven systems. FL Auto Korea CEO Lee Yoon-dong stated that the company will continue its efforts to discover and nurture talent that can lead the future of the automotive industry by sharing global field expertise.
