Flamenco cultural events scheduled in Madrid and Conil

Various flamenco-themed cultural events are taking place across Spain. In Madrid, photographer Ana Palma is presenting ‘Flamencas’ at the Ateneo de Madrid’s Sala Anselma. The exhibition features 50 images, in both color and black and white, focusing on the female essence of flamenco through song, dance, and music. The showcase is part of the Suma Flamenca 2026 program and is available for free until October 28.

In Conil de la Frontera, a special programming schedule has been organized for October and November to celebrate International Flamenco Day. Local dance academies will perform in the Plaza de España to showcase regional talent and preserve the cultural identity of Andalusia. The performances are scheduled throughout the two months, highlighting the work of various local academies.
