Flamenco festivals highlight cultural traditions in Spain

Various flamenco festivals and events are taking place across Spain. The Bienal de Flamenco de Sevilla, scheduled from September 9 to October 3, features 72 proposals including singing, dancing, and guitar performances. Notable upcoming acts include Canito and Raúl Rodríguez at Espacio Turina on September 12, and the 'Xerezanías' ensemble at the Real Alcázar on September 16, which showcases artists from Jerez.

In Puente Genil, the 60th Festival de Cante Grande Fosforito recently held a tribute night dedicated to maestro Antonio Fernández Díaz, known as Fosforito. The event, attended by approximately 1,000 people, featured performances by artists such as Julián Estrada, María Terremoto, Manuel Moreno El Pele, Mayte Martín, and David Pino, accompanied by dancers and guitarists.
