Flamenco On Fire festival returns to Navarra in 2026
The Flamenco On Fire festival returns to Navarra from August 21 to August 29, 2026. This edition, titled ‘Cadencia andaluza’, explores the history of flamenco between 1925 and 1950, tracing its evolution from traditional patios and singing cafés to theaters and bullrings.
Festival director Arturo Fernández stated that the guitar will be the central focus of this edition. The programming consists of 34 activities spread across 16 different stages. The event will feature a diverse lineup of performers, including guitarists such as Rafael Riqueni and Yerai Cortés, singers like José Mercé and Sandra Carrasco, and dancers including Manuel Liñán and Águeda Saavedra. The festival maintains an open structure, integrating performances within the streets and theaters of Pamplona.
