Flamenco On Fire festival returns to Navarra this August

The Flamenco On Fire festival returns to Navarra this August, running from the 21st to the 29th. The event features 34 different proposals across 16 stages located in Viana, Estella/Lizarra, and Pamplona.

This year marks the second part of a trilogy titled ‘A History of Flamenco,’ focusing on the period between 1925 and 1950 with the ‘Andalusian cadence’ as a central theme. The lineup includes artists such as José Mercé, Mayte Martín, Riqueni, Tim Ries, and La Tremendita. Festival director Arturo Fernández noted that the program aims to explore the musical, social, and environmental aspects of the art form through both orthodox and avant-garde performances.
