Flamengo beats São Paulo 1-0 in first leg of Brazil U‑20 women's final
Flamengo's women's squad, known as the Meninas da Gávea, defeated São Paulo 1‑0 in the first leg of the Campeonato Brasileiro Feminino Sub‑20 final on Sunday, 24 May. The match was played at the Arena Inamar in Diadema and was broadcast live by TV Brasil. Isabela Nunes scored the decisive goal from a direct free‑kick in the second half. The second leg will take place on Friday, 29 May at the Estádio Luso‑Brasileiro in Rio de Janeiro. Flamengo holds a one‑goal advantage and will win the title with a draw; São Paulo must win by at least two goals to force a penalty shoot‑out if the aggregate score remains level.
