Flamengo defeats Oberá to remain undefeated in Liga Sudamericana

Flamengo secured its second consecutive victory in the Liga Sudamericana de Basquete, defeating Argentina's Oberá 93-73 at the Maracanãzinho in Rio de Janeiro. The win maintains Flamengo's perfect record in Group D.

While Oberá held a strong start with a 27-15 lead in the first period, Flamengo responded in the second quarter to lead 43-36 at halftime. The Brazilian side regained control in the third quarter, outscoring the visitors 28-18 to establish a 71-54 lead heading into the final ten minutes. Flamengo ultimately managed the lead to finish with a 20-point margin.

For Oberá, the loss complicates their path to qualification. To keep their hopes alive, they must defeat the Colombian team Paisas by at least 11 points and hope for a Defensor Sporting loss against Flamengo. Flamengo will conclude its first-phase participation against Uruguay's Defensor Sporting.
