Flamengo draws 2-2 with River Plate in Portugal friendly

Flamengo and Argentine side River Plate played to a 2-2 draw at the Estádio do Algarve in Portugal. Driussi scored twice for River, while Flamengo responded through goals from Bruno Henrique and Samuel Lino, who also provided an assist.

Coach Leonardo Jardim said the match was a useful test for the squad ahead of the second half of the season, noting defensive lapses that cost the team. He used the friendly to evaluate players returning from injury and to experiment with line‑up changes.
