Flamengo striker Pedro faces legal dispute over Rio de Janeiro home

Pedro Guilherme, a striker for Flamengo, is involved in a judicial dispute regarding a property in Recreio dos Bandeirantes, Rio de Janeiro. A couple is seeking a court order for repossession of the residence, claiming they were forced to vacate after the home was sold at auction.

The auction followed an extrajudicial execution by Caixa Econômica Federal due to mortgage payment delays. However, in August 2026, the Superior Tribunal de Justiça (STJ) annulled the execution, ruling that the previous occupants were not personally notified to regularize the debt, which is a legal requirement.

Following this ruling, the former occupants are now petitioning the 3rd Civil Court of Barra da Tijuca to regain possession of the property, arguing that the STJ decision restores their rights to the home.
