Flaminio Cemetery in Rome faces severe neglect and decay

Members of the Forza Italia party, Rachele Mussolini and Michel Emi Maritato, have issued a formal complaint regarding the deteriorating conditions at the Flaminio Cemetery in Rome. The political group alleges that the site is suffering from significant neglect, which they claim shows a lack of respect for both the deceased and visitors.

Specific issues reported include non-functional water fountains, making it difficult for visitors—many of whom are elderly—to clean graves or water plants. Additionally, the group highlighted unacceptable sanitary conditions in public restrooms, excessive vegetation, dirt, and a massive presence of mosquitoes.

Forza Italia is calling on the Campidoglio (Rome's municipal government) to conduct urgent inspections, improve cleaning and maintenance, ensure water supply functionality, and implement pest control measures to address these administrative failures.
