flatexDEGIRO appoints Dominik Beier as Chief Growth Officer

flatexDEGIRO has appointed Dominik Beier as its new Chief Growth Officer (CGO), a newly created executive position focused on growth, branding, and customer acquisition. Beier, who previously served as Chief Commercial Officer at the crypto platform Bitpanda, is scheduled to begin his role in January 2027 and will report directly to CEO Oliver Behrens.

The appointment marks a strategic shift for the Frankfurt-based brokerage. After years of prioritizing cost control, the company recently reported record profits and aims to transition toward aggressive expansion. The company intends to increase its customer base from approximately 3.5 million accounts across 16 countries to between 7 and 8 million within the next five years.

In his new role, Beier will oversee the integration of product development, marketing, and customer experience to drive European expansion. This move coincides with the launch of the company’s own crypto trading services, highlighting an increased focus on digital investment products.
