Flavia Renzi wins 27th Torre d’Oro singing competition

Seventeen-year-old singer Flavia Renzi, from Veroli, won the 27th edition of the Torre d’Oro singing competition held in Lanuvio on August 22 and 23. During the final, Renzi performed “I Surrender” by Céline Dion.

This victory follows her recent second-place finish in the Senior category at the Parco Leonardo Festival Show in Fiumicino this past June. Renzi has also been involved in the “Cadenze Letterarie” project in Fiumicino, which integrates music with literature and art.

As the winner of the Torre d’Oro, Renzi is slated to have the opportunity to open a concert for a well-known Italian artist, though the specific performer has not yet been announced.
