Flavie Flament reveals identity in Patrick Bruel abuse allegations

Flavie Flament, a French television presenter, has revealed her identity as ‘Eva’, one of the women who previously testified anonymously in Mediapart regarding allegations of sexual abuse against singer Patrick Bruel.

Flament stated that her decision to come forward was driven by a desire to rebalance the power dynamic and ensure that the other fifteen women who testified remain visible. She noted that while her own notoriety might overshadow them, the media had largely failed to focus on the group of victims.

A specific turning point occurred when Flament witnessed Bruel receiving public applause while leaving the Théâtre Edouard VII. She expressed a desire for legal accountability, stating, ‘I dream of a trial’ to ensure the past is recognized and judged.

Patrick Bruel has categorically denied all allegations and remains presumed innocent.
