Flavio Mendoza criticizes Luis Novaresio over interview with Javier Bazterrica

Argentine entrepreneur and choreographer Flavio Mendoza has publicly criticized journalist Luis Novaresio following an interview with Javier Bazterrica, known as ‘el Gigoló’. The controversy stems from a 2015 incident in which Bazterrica was accused of defrauding Mendoza’s sister, Adriana.

During the interview for the program ‘Infobae La Vida Después’, Bazterrica denied the allegations, stating, ‘I never defrauded her in my life.’ He claimed that while he reached a legal agreement to avoid imprisonment, he was processed without sufficient evidence.

Mendoza expressed his indignation on social media, questioning Novaresio’s professional integrity. ‘I thought you were a serious journalist. What is the need to interview a criminal?’ Mendoza wrote, adding that he believes professionals should choose whom they provide a platform to based on their own values.
