At the Fleet Electrification Forum, myenergi chief commercial officer Jack Fielder urged fleet operators to reconsider the role of home charging, noting that domestic tariffs can halve charging costs compared with public rapid chargers. He highlighted the potential for drivers to earn income through grid‑flexibility services such as myenergi’s Grid Pay, and stressed that partnerships between charging providers, fleet managers and energy suppliers are essential for large‑scale deployment.

Heliox, a Siemens business, announced the H60D, a 60 kW dual‑outlet DC fast charger that can serve two vehicles simultaneously. The unit dynamically allocates power, reduces hardware spend per port, and meets Build America standards with U.S. manufacturing. It supports OCPP 1.6J/2.0.1, operates in extreme temperatures, and includes RFID driver access and a 24‑month warranty.

Both developments aim to lower total cost of ownership for commercial electric‑vehicle fleets and accelerate broader fleet electrification.
