Fleetwood Mac’s ‘Greatest Hits’ enters US Top 10 album sales chart

Fleetwood Mac’s ‘Greatest Hits’ has reached the Top 10 of the Billboard Top Album Sales chart for the first time. The decades-old compilation achieved this milestone following the release of an expanded deluxe edition.

The new version, which includes additional tracks such as ‘Silver Springs’ (live) and ‘Landslide’, was first released digitally in June before arriving on physical formats like CD and vinyl on July 31. This release triggered a significant surge in sales; Billboard reported that the album sold nearly 6,000 copies in the week ending August 6, representing a 286% increase from the previous week.

In addition to its performance on the Top Album Sales chart, the collection also saw a major rise on the Billboard 200, climbing from 69th to 13th place. The album also reached 5th place on the vinyl sales charts.
