Flensburger Brauerei celebrates topping out of new brewhouse
Flensburger Brauerei has reached a major construction milestone with the topping out ceremony for its new brewhouse at the Munketoft 12 location. The event, held on September 4, was attended by approximately 200 guests, including brewery employees, construction partners, and Flensburg Mayor Fabian Geyer.
Project manager and production manager Enes Erisgen noted that the project has overcome significant structural and coordination challenges. Following the completion of the shell, the roof is scheduled for installation in September, with interior work, including heating, ventilation, and electrical systems, beginning in October.
The brewery aims to begin commissioning in January 2027, with the first batch of beer planned for production in the winter of 2027. As the largest private brewery in Schleswig-Holstein, Flensburger Brauerei employs around 265 people and produces 18 different products.
