Fleury Michon acquires vegan meal brand Allplants

French agri-food company Fleury Michon has acquired the plant-based ready meal brand Allplants. The acquisition includes all brand rights, marketing activities, and teams.

Allplants was launched by Ella and Matthew Mills, the founders of Deliciously Ella, originally as a subsidiary of Deliciously Ella in partnership with Waitrose in 2022. Following the sale of Deliciously Ella to the Hero Group, the business rebranded as Allplants.

Under the new ownership, Allplants managing director Kerry Atack will remain in her role, and Ella Mills will continue to serve as the brand ambassador. Fleury Michon intends to use the acquisition to expand its plant-based footprint and drive growth within the UK grocery sector.

Fleury Michon is a major market leader in cooked meats and ready meals, generating annual revenues exceeding €800m. The deal follows a period of volatility for Allplants, which faced challenges including inflation and supply chain disruptions that led to administration in 2024.
