Flex x Cop 2 to debut second season on August 7

South Korea's SBS announced that the second season of the detective drama Flex x Cop, titled Flex x Cop 2, will premiere on August 7. The series will air on SBS and be released simultaneously on Disney+ for international viewers.

A first table‑read session was held with returning stars Ahn Bo Hyun as Jin I Soo and Jung Eun Chae as veteran detective Joo Hye Ra, alongside original cast members Kang Sang Jun, Kim Shin Bi, Jung Ga Hee and Kim Myung Soo. Director Kim Jae‑Hong and writer Kim Ba Da highlighted the upgraded scale, new storylines and the chemistry among the ensemble.

The new season follows Jin I Soo, a third‑generation chaebol detective who now works as a full‑time investigator, teaming up with Joo Hye Ra, the new leader of the Violent Crimes Unit. Production notes promise heightened action, sharper character dynamics and a larger budget.
