Flexson unveils in‑ceiling mount for Sonos Era and One speakers

Flexson, the dedicated Sonos accessories brand, announced the Flexson In‑Ceiling Mount (model FLXE100ICM1011). The mount fits Sonos Era 100, Era 100 SL, Era 100 Pro, Sonos One and One SL, allowing the speakers to be installed flush in a ceiling behind a paintable grille. No separate amplifier or long speaker‑cable runs are required; the Era 100 Pro can use Power over Ethernet, delivering audio and power over a single CAT5e/6 cable. Flexson markets the solution to retrofits, apartments, small rooms and cost‑conscious projects where traditional custom‑install systems are impractical. Director Mark Glen said, “Clients love Sonos, but they don’t love seeing it,” highlighting the mount’s ability to provide a clean, architectural finish at a lower price point.
