Flifs festival celebrates reggae and popular music in Feira de Santana

The Festival Literário e Cultural de Feira de Santana (Flifs) featured a night dedicated to popular music and reggae roots. During the ‘Noite Feirense’ at the Centro de Convenções, veteran singer and composer Dionorina performed a new repertoire, including songs not previously released on his five CDs or LP.

Reggae artist Jôhras also performed, emphasizing the importance of female representation in the genre and honoring her late father, Jorge de Angélica, a reggae icon in Bahia.
