Flightright ranks airlines with highest delays on French departures
Flightright, a passenger‑rights platform, released a ranking of the punctuality of 107,970 flights operated by the 25 main European airlines departing France between 1 June and 20 July 2026. The analysis shows that nearly four of ten flights left the French airports at least 15 minutes late.
Tunisair tops the list with 55.45 % of its 752 flights delayed, followed by NouvelAir (52.69 %), Aer Lingus (47.38 %), Ryanair (45.27 %) and EasyJet (44.74 %). Air Algérie ranks ninth with 42.68 % (951 of 2 228 flights) delayed, while Air France appears tenth with 38.31 % delays. The study comes as the European Parliament recently adopted stronger passenger‑rights rules, maintaining compensation of €250‑€600 for delays over three hours.
