Amazon and Flipkart announce 2026 festive sale dates in India

Major e-commerce platforms Amazon and Flipkart have announced the dates for their annual flagship festive sales in India for 2026.

Amazon’s ‘Great Indian Festival’ is scheduled to begin on October 8, with Amazon Prime members receiving early access on October 7. The sale will feature discounts on smartphones, electronics, and home appliances. Key offers include a 10% instant discount for State Bank of India (SBI) cardholders and additional benefits for Prime members. Notable smartphone deals are expected for brands such as OnePlus, iQOO, and Samsung.

Flipkart’s ‘Big Billion Days’ will launch for all customers on October 9, while Flipkart Plus, Flipkart Black, and Flipkart Credit Card holders will have early access starting October 8. The sale will include partnerships with Axis Bank and ICICI Bank, offering instant discounts of up to 10%. The event will cover various categories including fashion, laptops, and consumer electronics.
