Félix Auger‑Aliassime eliminated in Libema Open quarterfinal by Kamil Majchrzak

Top‑seeded Canadian Félix Auger‑Aliassime, ranked world No. 4, was upset 6‑4, 6‑3 by Poland’s Kamil Majchrzak in the quarterfinals of the Libema Open in Hertogenbosch, Netherlands. It was their first meeting at ATP Tour level, although Auger‑Aliassime had previously beaten Majchrzak at the Challenger level. The grass‑court ATP 250 event also saw other notable results, such as Alexander Bublik reaching the semifinals and Dutch pair Tallon Griekspoor and Botic van de Zandschulp advancing after a walkover in the doubles draw.

The defeat ends Auger‑Aliassime’s run at the tournament, where he entered as the top seed and had secured a second‑round win over Marton Fucsovics the day before.
