Félix Bolaños defends government management of Ceuta crisis

Spanish Minister of Presidency, Justice, and Relations with the Courts, Félix Bolaños, stated in Oviedo that during complex crises such as the one in Ceuta, it is preferable to have a progressive government capable of managing the situation with transparency.

Bolaños announced that the government will release all reports regarding the events of July 30, July 31, and subsequent days to demonstrate that management was conducted with respect for human rights and in strict compliance with the law. He noted that such actions require time.

During his speech at the UGT Asturias summer school, Bolaños defended Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez, asserting he will be remembered as the best president in Spanish democracy for his work on European funds and the welfare state. He also criticized the right and far-right, accusing them of persecution and warned against the influence of certain media and search engine algorithms on progressive discourse.
