Félix Ramón Batista, bodybuilding leader and researcher, dies

The Dominican Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness (FDFF) has announced the passing of its vice president, Dr. Félix Ramón Batista. Batista died in Santo Domingo following a long illness.

Batista was a multi-faceted professional recognized as a physician, an international bodybuilding judge, and a prominent folklore researcher. His contributions to culture earned him distinctions from the Dominican Academy of Sciences.

In addition to his sports leadership, the Ministry of Culture and the National Folkloric Ballet expressed their condolences, noting his significant impact on the country's cultural and athletic communities.
