FlixBus expands domestic network in Portugal

FlixBus has expanded its long-distance road transport network in Portugal, adding several new destinations to its domestic service. The expansion includes new connections for Loulé, Castro Verde, Vouzela, Termas de São Pedro do Sul, and Ovar.

In the south, Loulé now offers direct routes to Lisbon, Setúbal, Beja, Albufeira, and Faro, including Faro Airport. Castro Verde has also been integrated, providing links to major urban centers such as Lisbon and Faro. In the central and northern regions, Vouzela and Termas de São Pedro do Sul are now connected to Porto, Braga, Guimarães, Aveiro, and Viseu. Additionally, Ovar has joined the network with routes linking it to Porto, Coimbra, Santarém, and Évora.

This expansion is part of a broader strategy to increase service in areas with lower population densities. Since the beginning of 2026, the operator has added 13 new cities to its domestic offering, bringing its total domestic network to over 100 destinations.
