FlixBus launches new Bucharest-Chisinau bus route

FlixBus has launched a new direct bus connection between Bucharest and Chisinau, marking its first partnership with a local carrier in the Republic of Moldova, Gal Trans. The service began operations on September 12.

The new route features two daily trips in each direction. Buses departing from Bucharest are scheduled for 10:00 and 23:00, with an estimated travel time of approximately eight hours. The route includes a stop at Henri Coandă International Airport, providing passengers from the Republic of Moldova direct access to Romania’s primary airport and Bucharest.

While the Republic of Moldova was previously connected to the FlixBus network via international connections operated by Ukrainian partners, this new route expands regional mobility and provides direct links to various destinations across Romania and Europe.
