FlixBus Urbino-Rome service to become year-round from December 2026

The FlixBus service connecting Urbino and Rome will transition to a year-round schedule starting December 3, 2026. This follows a successful summer trial period that began in June 2026.

Following authorization from the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, the route will feature a renewed path and additional stops. The service will connect Urbino to Acqualagna, Gubbio, Perugia, Roma Tiburtina, and the Ciampino and Fiumicino airports.

University of Urbino Rector Giorgio Calcagnini emphasized that consistent mobility is vital for the academic community, which includes students from various regions and countries. The initiative was supported by the Municipality of Urbino and coordinated with FlixBus and LolliBus, with assistance from Member of Parliament Antonio Baldelli.
