FlixLatino and Filmelier+ expand Spanish-language streaming options
Filmelier+ announced its May programming slate, adding a mix of auteur and genre titles such as Paolo Sorrentino's "Parthenope: Los amores de Nápoles," the drama "Cowboys," the documentary on Carlos Enrique Taboada, and nostalgic Bridget Jones films. The curated lineup aims to attract cinephiles, mainstream viewers, and fans of genre cinema, reflecting a strategy of differentiated content for digital entertainment audiences.
FlixLatino launched a free ad‑supported video‑on‑demand (AVOD) service in the United States and Puerto Rico, offering more than 10,000 hours of content, over 250 movies and 20 FAST channels sourced from partners like TV Azteca, Caracol Televisión and RCN Televisión. The platform targets the Hispanic market, which is rapidly adopting free streaming and FAST channels, and intends to grow its audience and advertising revenue while maintaining its premium SVOD offering.
