Floor Jansen announces second solo album ‘Hytress’
Floor Jansen, the vocalist for Nightwish, has announced her second solo studio album, titled ‘Hytress’, which is scheduled for release on January 15, 2027. The announcement follows the release of her new single, ‘Bring Me Silence’.
Jansen described the upcoming album as having a heavier and more direct metal sound than her previous solo debut, ‘Paragon’. The 12-track album will include the previously released song ‘Run’. The new musical direction aims to combine raw metal energy with more intimate, vulnerable lyrical themes regarding mental clarity and personal space.
A tour to support the album is planned for 2027, with dates scheduled across Europe and South America. Specific European tour stops include cities such as Nuremberg, Stuttgart, Frankfurt, Munich, Leipzig, Hamburg, Oberhausen, Groningen, Amsterdam, Antwerp, and Paris.
