Floorballzone17 and Fatal Damage win German Street Floorball titles at Hannover Finals 2026

The inaugural Street Floorball Championships were held over two days as part of the Die Finals multisport event in Hannover, Germany. In the men's competition, the team Floorballzone17 claimed the German championship and secured a spot at the 3v3 World Championship in 2027. The women's final saw Fatal Damage defeat Team Leipzig in a tightly contested match, earning the title and also qualifying for the 2027 world tournament.

TSV Algesdorf participated in the event as a demonstration club, helping present the sport to a broader audience. Although the club’s team did not record any points, its involvement provided exposure for the sport and included a TSV referee on the tournament crew. The Championships featured an outdoor "street" format on a specially prepared surface and were accompanied by a large exhibition area with 75 stands showcasing floorball activities throughout the Finals week.
