Flora et Labora launches sustainable flower business in Beget

Imanol Salvador and Lorea Palacios have launched Flora et Labora, a sustainable floriculture business based in a farmhouse in Beget, within the Ripollès region. The project focuses on cultivating seasonal, organic, and artisanal flowers to promote local production.

Specializing in wedding decoration and floral design workshops, the couple grows most of their flowers from seed at their Can Batlle farmhouse. They advocate for a seasonal approach to floristry, similar to local food movements, aiming to discourage the demand for out-of-season flowers, such as tulips in August.
