Flora Olomouc exhibition to showcase Czech horticulture

The Flora Olomouc exhibition, themed ‘Dary naší země’ (Gifts of Our Land), is scheduled to take place from October 8 to October 11 at the Olomouc Exhibition Grounds. The event serves as a showcase for Czech professional horticulture, featuring fruit, vegetables, flowers, and ornamental woody plants.

A central floral installation in Pavilion A, designed by renowned Czech florist Klára Franc Vavříková, uses motifs of earth, sun, and water to connect the landscape with the work of local farmers. The exhibition aims to highlight the quality and diversity of domestic produce through initiatives such as ‘Czech Flower’ and ‘Czech Plant’.

In addition to the main exhibition, the event includes gardening markets with over 200 vendors, the Hanácká international beekeeping exhibition, the OLIMA gastronomy festival, and the 30th anniversary of the Olima Cup. The program also features lectures, horticultural advice, and various culinary and floral shows.
