Florence-Bagno a Ripoli tramway construction enters new phase

Construction continues on the tramway project connecting Florence to Bagno a Ripoli. A new phase of work is scheduled for Piazza Beccaria starting October 19, which includes restoring the access lane from Viale Amendola and closing the temporary turn from Viale Gramsci toward Via Scialoia.

Additionally, redevelopment efforts are underway at Piazza del Bandino, where the internal connection lane between Via di Ripoli and Viale Giannotti will be closed. In Viale Europa, track laying is progressing, with night shifts scheduled between October 20 and October 30. These operations will involve transit restrictions and specific alternative routes for vehicles exiting the city.
