Florence Calamandrei student residence meeting scheduled for October 30

A working group meeting regarding the Calamandrei university residence in Florence is scheduled for October 30. The meeting will include representatives from the Region, University, Municipality, Afam institutes, Ardsu, and student groups.

Regional Councilor Cristina Manetti emphasized the importance of dialogue with students to address critical issues and improve living conditions. The Region has confirmed four million euros for the redevelopment of the property.

Recent maintenance includes approximately 110,000 euros spent on the water system to improve water quality via tank vitrification. Additional extraordinary maintenance on showers and drainage systems was conducted in towers A and B during August and September, with work continuing in towers C and D.
