Florence cultural events scheduled for 2026

Several cultural events are scheduled for 2026 in the Florence region. The Compagnia delle Seggiole will perform a special indoor theatrical storytelling production on October 10, 2026, at the Cimitero Monumentale dell’Antella. This performance commemorates the 170th anniversary of the cemetery and is inspired by the work of Franco Mariani, focusing on the history and art of the site through the perspective of priest Giuseppe Scappini.

Additionally, the 20th edition of the Cirk Fantastik! contemporary circus festival will take place from September 10 to 20, 2026. Held at Parco delle Cascine in Florence and in Scandicci, the festival will feature 39 shows from national and international companies, including workshops, concerts, and free activities for families. The event is organized by Aria Network Culturale with support from Fondazione CR Firenze, the Ministry of Culture, and the Tuscany Region.
