Italy hosts various charity runs to support cancer research and patient care

Various charitable sporting events and initiatives are taking place across Italy to support cancer research and patient care.

In Florence, the 24th edition of Corri la Vita is scheduled for September 27. Registration is open, and participants can receive a pink t-shirt signed by Ferragamo with a minimum donation of 10 euros. The funds support breast cancer research and Corri la Vita ETS projects.

LILT (Lega Italiana per la Lotta contro i Tumori) will host the Pigiama Run on September 18, 2026. This event encourages participants to wear pajamas to raise awareness and funds for children and adolescents undergoing cancer treatment, supporting initiatives such as specialized housing for families.

Additionally, the Corsa di Paolo in Treviso continues its long-standing tradition of combining sport and charity. This year's proceeds will benefit LILT Treviso and ADVAR, following a history of generating over 250,000 euros for charitable causes.
