Florence hosts walking football tournament to honor Celeste Pin

As part of the fifth edition of the Metropolitan Olympics and Paralympics of Florence, a demonstration tournament of Calcio Camminato (walking football) was held. The event was organized by US ACLI Firenze in collaboration with CONI Toscana and the Metropolitan City of Florence.

The tournament served as a tribute to Celeste Pin, a prominent figure in Florentine football and sports, with his wife Gloria and daughter Melissa in attendance. Held during the European Week of Sport, the event aimed to promote physical activity, social inclusion, and community well-being through sport.
