Florence Pugh and Zoe Kazan promote Netflix’s ‘East of Eden’

Florence Pugh and Zoe Kazan are conducting promotional events for the upcoming Netflix limited series ‘East of Eden’. The seven-episode adaptation of John Steinbeck’s classic novel is scheduled to premiere on October 1.

As part of the promotional tour, the pair visited the Library of Congress to view historical Steinbeck artifacts and works related to both the original novel and the 1955 film adaptation. They also attended an advance screening and Q&A event in West Hollywood.

The series, which has been in development since 2020, reimagines the multigenerational saga through the perspective of Cathy Ames, a character played by Pugh. Kazan serves as the series’ co-showrunner, writer, and executive producer.
