Florence Pugh confirmed for Marvel's Avengers films and Netflix series

Actress Florence Pugh is expanding her presence in both streaming and major film franchises. She is set to star in the Netflix miniseries ‘East of Eden’, an adaptation of the John Steinbeck classic, where she will play Cathy Ames.

In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Pugh has been confirmed to return as Yelena Belova in ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’. Additionally, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige has hinted that her character will play a central role in ‘Avengers: Doomsday’. Pugh recently credited Tom Holland for helping her secure her role in ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ and noted that she enjoyed working with Channing Tatum on the set of the upcoming Avengers production.

Pugh’s upcoming schedule also includes high-profile roles in ‘Dune: Part Three’ and ‘Avengers: Doomsday’, both of which are slated for release in December 2026.
